Time to watch some Saturday Morning Cartoons! I’m thrilled to share that I had the opportunity to contribute to the development of the introduction for the ‘Total Drama Island’ Reboot (2023/2024) during my tenure at Elliott Animation Inc. My primary tool was Blender 3D, which I used extensively throughout the series. I was responsible for creating the 3D Island and camera move of the Intro you see. The final product is a blend of 3D and 2D elements—the helicopter and squirrel were brought to life by the talented animation team. I had the pleasure of working alongside Eric Thompson( https://www.artstation.com/ericthmpsnart) who played a key role in crafting some of the 3D assets. I was also fortunate to have the guidance of Martin Smith, the Art Director responsible for the island’s 2D design, as well as the direction of Michelle Tripp and Andrew Wolf the Animation Directors, along with Jason Clarke Post Effects Supervisor, and Keith Oliver, the Director.
